Australian Nature Guides warmly welcomes Michelle Whitehouse, our newest addition to the team. Simon has handed the reins over to Michelle as he pursues his PhD studies in the United States. But don’t despair, Simon is not gone for good. After 20 years at Carnarvon Gorge we can’t get rid of him that easily! He’ll return for more fun and games later this year.
Michelle comes to Carnarvon Gorge with qualifications in Outdoor Education and Nature Tourism from La Trobe University, Bendigo, and a passion for interpreting Australia’s natural and cultural history. Michelle’s extensive experience in the tourism, outdoor education and hospitality industries, has seen her take on roles in iconic Australian locations such as Kangaroo Island, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, and Winton, outback Queensland.
Rest assured that a guided walk through Carnarvon Gorge with Michelle will make for an interesting and enjoyable day
